I’m a bit late posting about this one because I must admit after I did the session back in 2019 (quite a quick home session), I forgot about it. But here is Nurgloth, the boss at the end of the The Enchanter’s Lair mission of Vermintide 2. He’s a bit of a toughy! In the video above I’ve cut him in with some of my Blightreaper dialogue I did for the Shadows over Bögenhafen DLC for the same game. Enjoy!
I was very happy to be cast as the Fial Darg, the fallen God himself, in SpellForce 3: Fallen God. Had some great sessions on this. Check out some footage in the video above, and of course do check out the game itself.
And we’re back! It wasn’t a one-off! Episode 2 with the lovely Kenneth Collard is now live. I met Kenneth at a tableread for Cuckoo after which my part was actually cut in a script rewrite. He said he enjoyed the first episode so I asked if he wanted to do one and he was up for it. Enjoy!
My second album with Dave and Jon is out now on all the streaming sites plus you can get vinyl, CD or tape versions all with slightly different covers. I’m very happy with how this turned out so I’d love you to check it out x
Very happy to release the first episode of my new online show today. The idea originally started off as a filmed podcast with a Larry Sanders type element of behind the scenes… but Covid lockdown happened soon after we’d decided to start getting it off the ground and it changed into a Zoom thing. It’s a continuation from Rich Keeble Vanity Project with the same version of myself I played in that, although he’s picked himself up from the disastrous events at the end of that series and is trying to make a go of this chatshow format. But will it work out as he planned…? Probably not.
The Criminal Audition Original Soundtrack album is out now on all the streaming sites. It’s very good! There are a number of dialogue snippets from the film too so I pop up from time to time. My first time on a soundtrack album! Check it out.
Alexis Strum is a friend of mine and very funny – she is doing great work over on her live streaming channel on Twitch. I was her guest on Saturday’s episode of The HR department which was a lot of fun!
Katherine Ryan’s new Netflix sitcom The Duchess came out today. I did a day on the show last year, and had a great time on set, as well as reading in a load of characters at the readthrough. Katherine is great, Toby the director was also lovely, and I have to thank Catherine Willis yet again for bringing me in the room. Unfortunately a few months ago I received a lovely email from Gavin the producer explaining that they’d had to cut my scene in half for run time, and therefore my dialogue had had to go. Obviously it’s a shame, but these things happen. Anyway, you can actually still see me sat in the audience in the scene above (which is in episode 3), so if you catch sight of me and think I’ve taken up background/SA work, now you know! My character was called Ted by the way. Maybe he’ll get another chance to appear!
Very happy to be in the new series of Idris Elba’s In The Long Run sitcom on Sky. Here’s a still from my scene as “Parent” – a breakout role I think you’ll agree – which I believe is my first time rapping on camera, or indeed at all. Had a great time hanging out with Jimmy Akingbola and Steve Furst on set, and I got to meet the big man himself and Bill Bailey at the table reads.
A couple of years ago I voiced the character of Frank Fairbourne in the video game Strange Brigade by developer Rebellion, so it was lovely to narrate this audiobook based on their Zombie Army game series! Out on Audible now!
Last year I was asked to read in various characters at the tableread for new Dawn French comedy drama The Trouble with Maggie Cole. I had a great time and it was a dream come true to work with Dawn who was lovely. Ultimately they gave me some voice roles on the show which was a radio DJ in the first episode and a bloke on the phone in Episode 4. The whole series is available on ITV Hub for another few days.
Monday 11th November 2019 will now most likely be remembered across the globe as the day “Bellend Tattoo” was released as a single on limited edition 3.5inch floppy disk, the s/t debut album it’s taken from was re-released on cassette for the first time, but also a brand new track, “Let’s Turn Down The Heat (on the thermostat)” off the next album, is released on clear 7 inch lathe cut vinyl! Oh my goodness. And hang on… there’s a new music video for “Bellend Tattoo” out as well! Right here…
A few months ago I did some voice acting for one episode of Ryan Sampson’s new online Comedy Central series. You never know what they’re going to use but I’m happy to say you can hear me rushing in around 2:57. Great series actually.
I’ve known Ben Green for a few years now: we met on set of Alan Carr’s Summer Specstacular, and he starred in my You Took My Stuff video. He’s about to star in Gold sitcom The Cockfields with Joe Wilkinson and Diane Morgan. Now it looks like we’re doing a live thing together! Well I have to capitalise on his impending stardom don’t I? We’re planning on getting some stuff out there very soon! I’m posting this so we actually have to do it!
Had a lot of fun narrating this audiobook that’s out today on Audible. Not sure my digestive system is quite what it was but it certainly reignited my interest in spicy food!
Things are looking very exciting for Criminal Audition it would appear: the film is premiering at Frightfest on Saturday, has been getting some nice reviews and even featured on some “must see” lists.
Sight & Sound have featured us as one of “10 human horror highlights”, and Entertainment Focus include us in their “10 hidden gems” list. Also how can I not mention this review by Nerdspan who say: “Most of this feels centred on the hapless William, who clearly becomes more out of his depth as the night progresses. Luckily, Rich Keeble does a great job with this and holds it all together as a focal point, while the world around William falls apart. Alongside him, Luke Kaile’s Ryan is pretty much the moral centre, compared to the rest, and is a nice foil for William. This pair are great throughout and make a very likable double act“. Isn’t that lovely? Makes a nice change from being trolled on Twitter about Topcashback!
Tickets to see the film on Saturday at the Prince Charles Theatre, Leicester Square are available here. Sadly I can’t be there this time but this is a great film despite me being in it and I’d love you to see it. If you haven’t seen the trailer check it out here.
